Description
A fully articulated spine of interlocking segments, every joint printed in position and moving from the moment it leaves the build plate. There is nothing to click together and nothing to fit — no assembly needed, it prints ready to move.
Each segment is captured inside the one before it during the build itself, which is only possible because the gaps between them are held to a tolerance finer than a sheet of paper. The result is a body that bends, curls and travels across a surface with the weight and cadence of the real thing.
- Printed as one continuous piece, joints included
- Articulation along the full length of the body
- High-strength polymer rated for sustained daily handling
- Captured joints that cannot separate or be lost
- Coils flat, hangs, and holds a pose
Built for
- A desk piece that rewards being handled
- Restless hands during long stretches of concentration
- Demonstrating what additive manufacturing can actually do
