ForgeFi is a workshop in Pinelands, Cape Town. We build things, modify things, and repair things that other people have given up on.
What that covers
Two sides, one workshop:
- Workshop. Console and controller repairs and mods, FPV builds and tuning, website building and software development. Every job is quoted before it starts, and parts are sourced to order.
- Shop. Articulated animals, fidgets and flip trainers. Each is a print-in-place mechanism, produced as a single continuous assembly with the moving parts formed during the build.
They look different from the outside. They are the same job: understanding how something is put together well enough to make it work better.
How we work
- Everything is quoted before it is started, and the price does not move afterwards
- Diagnosis is free, and we will tell you when something is not worth repairing
- Parts are charged at cost plus labour, itemised, not buried in a round number
- If a job is not a good fit, we say so rather than take it on badly
Materials and finish
- High-strength polymer, selected for impact resistance and smooth articulation
- Fine layer resolution across curved and coiled geometry
- Printed goods available in Black, White, Red and Blue, with dual-colour builds on selected pieces
- Captured moving parts that cannot separate or be lost
